First, Logon at page 325 — that's your aircraft communications addressing and reporting system, the ACARS logon procedure. Longitude at page 2 — the angular distance east or west of the Greenwich meridian, measured in degrees. Long Range Cruise (LRC) at page 274 — that's the speed that gives you the best fuel mileage for the distance you're flying, and you'll see it abbreviated as LRC right below it.

Now the M section. Mach/Airspeed Indicator at page 90 — the instrument that shows both indicated airspeed and Mach number. Machmeter at page 83 — the dedicated instrument for Mach number, the ratio of your true airspeed to the local speed of sound.
Magnet at page 105 — the source of the magnetic field. Magnetic Compass at pages 119 and 153 — the basic direction-finding instrument. Magnetic Detector Unit at page 211 — that's the sensing element that detects the Earth's magnetic field for the compass system. Magnetic Dip at page 111 — the vertical component of the Earth's field, the angle the field lines make with the horizontal. Magnetic Dis at page 309 — that's a truncated entry, likely "Magnetic Distance" or a related term, but the page reference is what matters.
Magnetic Equator at page 120 — the line where the magnetic field is horizontal, where dip is zero. Magnetic Field at page 105 — the region of influence around a magnet. Magnetic Flux at page 216 — the total magnetic field passing through a given area. Magnetic Heading Reference System (MHRS) at page 366 — the full system that provides magnetic heading reference to the aircraft's instruments.
Magnetic Materials at page 108 — materials that respond to magnetic fields, relevant to compass deviation. Magnetic Meridian at pages 110 and 201 — the line of constant magnetic heading, the direction a compass needle points. Magnetic Variation at pages 110 and 119 — the angular difference between true north and magnetic north at your location.
Main Engine Control (MEC) at page 393 — the engine's primary control unit. Main Parameters at page 500 — the primary engine parameters you monitor. Maintenance BITE at page 100 — Built-In Test Equipment for maintenance. Maintenance Reports at page 324 — the reporting system for defects.
Manoeuvre-Induced Error at pages 16, 42, 61, and 85 — the compass error caused by acceleration and turning, the dip-induced error you'll see in turns. Manometric at page 366 — relating to pressure measurement, as in manometric pressure. MANUAL at page 241 — the manual mode of operation. Manual Systems — the non-automatic systems, the entry continues on the next page.
