These are the three main jet fuel types. JET A and JET A1 are kerosene-based fuels; JET B is a wider-cut fuel, a blend of kerosene and gasoline fractions. The AVTUR and AVTAG are the military designations for the same fuels. So the key takeaway here: this index is your navigation tool. Every term you'll be tested on is listed here with its page. When you see an acronym like IEOH or IHP, the index expands it for you. When you see a fuel designation like JET A1, the index gives you the alternative name AVTUR.
